We accept applications at any time.  The Trustees meet twice a year, with deadlines for applications on 1st March and 1st October.

Applications should be made in writing or by email – please see our Contact page for details.  Please explain concisely the reasons for your request and the expected outcomes.  For national charities, care should be taken, wherever possible, to explain how your work will specifically benefit the people of Merseyside and the surrounding region.

Please enclose with your application any details relating to budgets or costs and, where relevant, details of any funding already received.

Where possibly, please ask for a specific sum, rather than simply asking for “a contribution”.

To ensure efficient payment of funds, in the event of your application being successful, please include with the application: bank name; account name; account number; sort code.
